Privacy policy
Last updated: October 26, 2026
Rally is a private, invite-only app that one friend group uses to plan hangouts. This policy describes what we collect and how it's used, in plain language, because there's nothing complicated going on.
What we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name, email address, and a unique identifier from that provider. We never see your password.
- What you put into the app. Event proposals, RSVPs, ride and carpool details, comments, and any photos you share with the group.
- Push notification tokens. If you enable notifications, we store a device token so the app can notify you about plans.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data. To anyone, ever.
- We don't show ads or share your information with advertisers.
- We don't track you across other apps or websites.
- We don't make your content public. Everything in Rally is visible only to the members of your group.
Where your data lives
Rally stores data with Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage) on servers in the United States. Push notifications are delivered through Apple and Google's notification services via Expo.
How long we keep it
Your data stays as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted. Content that's inseparable from the group's shared history (like an event others RSVP'd to) may be retained in anonymized form.
Your choices
- You can turn push notifications off at any time in your device settings or in the app.
- You can request your data, or ask for your account and data to be deleted, by emailing us.
Children
Rally is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app. The date at the top always reflects the latest revision.
